& Laura Mitchell (Junior Team)

A Historic Team Silver Medal in the Senior Team Championships was the rward for GB's fantastic performance at the European Championshps at the NIA in Birmingham.

The gold medal went to Russia 169.700 Great Britain close behind took silver 168.275, Romania with 164.975 won the bronze.

Having qualified in 3rd place for the Team finals the GB girls were under immense pressure to repeat their performance in order to win the bronze medal!
They didn't repeat it... they bettered it, they were amazing!! The only team to go through every routine with no falls!

Nicole worked 4 pieces in the qualifying round & Vault, Bars & Beam in the Team finals & hit every routine, Nic also qualified for the Vault final, we are all very proud of her.

The Junior Team came 5th with 156.325 behind Russia, Romania, Italy & France.

Heathrow's Laura Mitchell also qualified for the AA Final & finished a fantastic 14th!

Laura was chosen to read the "Gymnasts Oath" at the Opening Ceremony
