British Team Championships 2010

Heathrow Gymnastics Club created a new record at the British Team Championships by winning the title for the 13th time, not only that, but the B Team was just out of the medals in 4th place, also a record. The competition was close between Heathrow & Notts as expected, but the Heathrow girls were on great form with some great support from other Heathrow members & parents, they excelled themselves.

The B Team also did a superb job & came an amazing 4th, one of the Judges commented to the coaches after the competition that it had been a pleasure to judge their beam routines & that both the Heathrow teams were the best routines out of the whole weekend! Go girls!!! The Teams were;

"A" Team; Becky Wing, Nicole Hibbert, Laura Mitchell, Loriah James & Charlotte Lindsley.

"B" Team; Jojo Perryman, Harriet Lymer-Smith, Savannah Lawrence & Rebekah Wiltshire.

1st.Heathrow "A" 161.050

2nd. Notts 'A' 159.500

3rd Huntingdon 152.300

4h Heathrow 'B' 147.000.

Congratulations also to Nicole who won the All Around with 54.200 ahead of Becky Downie of Notts with 53.900 and Becky’s teammate Niamh Rippin with 53.200.
