I competed in the U16 Men's Artistic British Championships on the 31st October 2009, against gymnasts my age and the year above. In the All-around competition I came fifth with a score of 75.15. My best piece was Parallel Bars where I got the bronze medal with a score of 13.25, behind Max Whitlock (13.9) and Sam Oldham (13.75). I also came close to medals on other events such as 4th on Floor and High Bar.
