Australian Youth Olympic Festival 2009

 

Nicole & Danusia travelled with Vince toSydney, Australia on January 7th to be a part of Team GB at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival. Their team mates were Jenny Pinches (Liverpool) & Nicole Watson (Park Wrekin).

Having to train routines through Xmas & New Year is tough but paid off in results!!

The Team came 3rd behind China & Japan, with Australia in 4th place,

1st: China - 169.825 points
2nd: Japan - 167.725 points
3rd: Team GB - 161.800 points,

Nicole was 5th in the All Around with 54.775 & qualified for all finals.
She won Bronze on Bars,
& placed 7th on Vault,
6th on Beam
& 4th on Floor.

Danusia was 6th in the All Around with 54.300 and qualified on 3 finals.
She won Silver on Floor
Bronze on Beam
& placed 6th on Bars
